Inside OpenAI’s DevDay: GPT-4 Turbo, GPTs, Assistants API and the Future of Humanity

In an electrifying first-ever DevDay in San Francisco, OpenAI revealed GPT-4 Turbo, a powerhouse AI model that promises to democratize AI access with its competitive pricing structure.

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, kicked off the event with a brief retrospective:

• About a year ago on November 30th, OpenAI shipped ChatGPT as a low-key research preview. In March, they followed up with the launch of GPT-4, which is still the most capable model out in the world.
• In the last few months, OpenAI launched voice and vision capabilities for ChatGPT to see, hear and speak.
• More recently, they launched DALL-E 3, world’s most advanced image model.
• For Enterprise customers, ChatGPT Enterprise was launched which offers enterprise grade security and privacy, higher speed GPT-4 access, longer context windows.
