Exploring Dolphin 2.2 Yi 34b: Empathy Meets Innovation?

01.AI released two bilingual base models: Yi-6B and Yi-34B, both trained on a high-quality corpus of 3T tokens with 4K sequence length, which can be extended to 32K at inference time.

There are also Yi-6B-200K and Yi-34B-200K base models with 200K context length. They are open for academic research, and you can apply for free commercial use.
The benchmark shows the performance comparison against Llama 2 and Falcon.
And Dolphin 2.2 Yi 34b, released by Eric Hartford, is a Yi version of Dolphin, which aims to create more empathetic AI, by giving you the best chat experience you’ve ever had with LLM.
